Kiddies Care was founded in 1980, formally Pine Tree school at Osu Nyaniba Estate. Rebranded as Kiddies Care nursery since 2012. Kiddies Care Nursery has maintained its Outstanding rating in academics. Kiddies Care, a nursery where children form ‘positive and trusting relationships with staff’, is celebrating an ‘Outstanding’ rating in academics.

At Kiddies Care Nursery , we create a safe and enriching home-from-home environment filled with opportunities to learn. We recruited passionate staff with boundless enthusiasm for their work and a never-ending commitment to the children, with a very low staff turnover. It is a place where children's emotional needs are met. their interests are nurtured, and their individuality are respected.
Over the past few years, we have been lucky to work with some amazing people to provide the children with exceptional care. I truly believe that our childcare can be the path to a brilliant future. Give your child a head start with our brand-new curriculum, expertly crafted by industry leaders. Our playful approach focuses on individual needs and important subjects like maths and literacy. Your child will build a strong foundation for school and develop a lifelong love of learning.
To provide cooked nutritional meals and promote children’s development ‘to the highest level’, with children ‘immersed in their learning’ from the moment they arrive. Our external caterer Mr Samual Addo supplies freshly made meals from off site and it is then served to the kids. A weekly menu is given out, so parents know what their children are served.
Our stuff turnover is minimal. Staff were recognised for their ‘high-quality interactions’ with children demonstrating ‘exceptionally high levels of confidence and independence’, and treating one another with ‘kindness and respect’. The report noted that ‘all children develop an extremely positive attitude to learning, including children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND)’.
As we believe kids learn through play and other non-classroom activities, we try to get the kids out as often as possible for sightseeing. Our beautiful team exhibits nothing but professionalism and genuine love and affection for the kids we look after. Our belief is that it is not enough to tell a child they are loved, they must feel loved. Our children form ‘positive and trusting relationships with staff’
The nursery’s partnership with parents was commended with parents speaking ‘very highly of the nursery’. Parents praised the staff’s ‘dedication and support they receive to provide the highest quality care and education’. In particular, our parents highlighted that the ‘views, interests and experiences of children and parents are highly valued’ which is reflected in the nursery’s provision planning.
As part of monthly dedication to our nursery, a monthly newsletter is shared among the group and parents to update on the kids’ progress for the month.
Up-and-coming events are also uploaded into the newsletter, ensuring parents are up to date with important dates and events.
We have a dedicated Whatsapp group for all parents of Kiddies Care, sharing weekly information e.g.: uploading the weekly menu and weekly show and tell from the kids.
The page is also there for parents to ask any urgent questions, and an answer is provided by Trudy (our External Liaison for the nursery) within 24 hours.
Centre Director Mercy Nortey has been described as an ‘inspirational leader’ who ensures that all staff have the ‘highest aspirations for children’.
The Deputy Centre Director Trudy Addo has been described as ‘positive and professional’, ensuring a safe management of the service and making certain that parents and staff are communicated to with progress information, as well as working on concerns to arrive at positive results.
At Kiddies Care , our children beam with joy as they reconnect with their key person and friends. This is thanks to our wonderful nursery team that has created a nurturing environment for our children so that every day is one they look forward to.

we provide daily updates on your child's learning and development so that you don't miss a single moment. This is done mainly by our open door policy, where mothers can come in or come in after school to look at the progress of each child. There is a daily diary which is the main source of communication on the progress of every child we support.
